Flying Donuts, formed in 1996, is a French punk rock band from Épinal, comprisong guitarist‑singer Jeremie Dalstein, bassist Emmanuel Barbe, and drummer Benjamin Dalstein. Their first release, the EP Visit Starts Here in 1998, established their DIY ethic and led to the 2002 album Last Straight Line, which marked their breakthrough on the French independent scene. Subsequent albums Renewed Attack (2006), Until The Morning Comes (2009), and Still Active (2014) expanded their catalogue, while split releases with Second Rate, The Joystix, and I'm Afraid to Depress showcased collaborative ties. With over 800 live performances, Flying Donuts remained a fixture in French punk, contributing to a sociological study on the DIY movement and achieving recognition for their sustained independent output.
