Michelle Benedek is an International Worship Leader and singer-songwriter from the United States whose music carries a global heartbeat. Born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Michelle discovered early on that her gift of singing was more than talent - it was a calling with purpose.
Her debut single “I Will Follow” (2020), featuring renowned Nigerian worship leader Nathaniel Bassey, introduced the world to a unique sound from Michelle blending Afro-Gospel rhythms and Contemporary Christian Music. Closely followed up by her second release, “KoS’Agbara” featuring esteemed Gospel Artist, Dunsin Oyekan. With its powerful cross-cultural expression, these songs positioned Michelle as a bridge-builder in worship, embodying the unity of the global Church.
As a worship leader for almost two decades, having started leading worship at 15, Michelle has led worship at some of the leading churches in America including Rhema Bible Church, Covenant Church of Pittsburgh, and Social Dallas, carrying her sound into diverse and impactful communities. She has also had the privilege of sharing stages with influential voices such as Chandler Moore, Todd Dulaney, Todd Galberth, Naomi Raine, and Kari Jobe to name a few. These are experiences that have further shaped her heart for cultivating atmospheres of God’s presence across generations and cultures.
Michelle’s music is marked by authenticity, spiritual depth, and cultural diversity. Her message is universal: to glorify God, bring heaven to earth, and awaken hope in every listener. Currently writing and recording new material, Michelle is committed to creating worship that not only inspires but also activates.
