Casa del Vento, an Italian left-wing folk rock band, was formed in 1991. The group's initial lineup included Luca Lanzi on vocals and acoustic guitar, Sauro Lanzi on various wind instruments and keyboards, Massimiliano Gregorio on bass guitar, Fabrizio Morganti on percussion, Andreas Petermann on violin and viola, and Riccardo Dellocchio on electric guitar. Their early work was influenced by the Modena City Ramblers. Casa del Vento released their debut album Senza bandiera in 1999. In 2001, they collaborated with Stefano "Cisco" Bellotti on the album 900. The following year, they contributed to the compilation album Tora! Tora! '02, featuring the track "Carne da cannone". Their subsequent albums include Pane e rose (2002), Sessant'anni di Resistenza (2004), and Il grande niente (2006).
