Khoma, a Swedish metal band from Umeå, was formed in 2002 by Jan Jämte, Johannes Persson, and Fredrik Kihlberg. The group initially went by the name Koma and began their musical journey with an album titled Tsunami, released in 2004 under Black Star Foundation. Khoma signed with Roadrunner Records and released their second album, The Second Wave, in 2006. The band toured the UK with 36 Crazyfists in June of that year. Their third album, A Final Storm, was released in 2010 under Catch n Release, the label founded by Anders Fridén of In Flames. This album was nominated for a Grammis in 2011 and won the award for Rock/Metal of the Year at P3 Guld. Khoma returned in 2012 with their fourth album, All Erodes, on Pelagic Records.
