Triumphator were a Swedish black metal band formed in 1995 in Linköping, Sweden, by bassist Marcus Tena, guitarist and vocalist Arioch, and drummer Fredrik Andersson. The band released their debut demo, The Triumph of Satan, in 1996, followed by the EP The Ultimate Sacrifice, recorded at Necromorbus Studios in 1998 and released in 1999 on Tena's Shadow Records. Triumphator recorded their debut studio album, Wings of Antichrist, at Abyss Studio in 1999, featuring guest lyrics from Mörk of Malign, Morgan S. Håkansson of Marduk, Nattfursth of Sorhin, and Belfagor of Ofermod. Following Tena's arrest and imprisonment in 2001, the group disbanded. Upon his release, Tena re-established Shadow Records and released the split compilation Black Metal Terror in 2019, featuring remastered early releases alongside tracks by Ofermod, Malign, and Watain.
