Lycosia is a French rock and gothic metal group from Cambrai formed in 1997 by Christi Scythe (Laurent Broda) on guitar and vocals, and Don Ragno (Alexis Gaffuri) on drums. The band's early breakthrough came with the release of their first maxi, Land of Tears (1998), which was recognized as the "autoproduction de l’année" by Rock Style magazine. Their debut album, No Love Lost (1999), received critical acclaim for its maturity and innovation. They toured extensively across Europe, supporting acts like Anathema and Cradle of Filth. The band released Unisex (2001), marking a shift towards rock and new wave influences. Their albums include Lycosia (2003) and ApokaLipstik (2006); the latter earned them the "Jeunes talents" award from SACEM. The band released Midnight Rock Celebration (2011).
