Since the romantic emotions of their album "Traversant", released three years ago, the duo has enhanced their singing and compositions for a new album rich in nuances.
Sophie Verbeeck, a multi-talented Belgian artist, and Bernard Tanguy aka BT93, master of retro harmonies, meet once again to explore the twists and turns of our souls tortured by the meaning of life.
The song "A", the most impressionistic in her writing, demonstrates that Sophie's writing finds its poetry in her verbal brushstrokes: Many sentences relate to the same theme, but it is by listening to the totality of the lyrics that we understand their meaning.
Bernard, the meticulous craftsman of these harmonies, confides that he injected incredible energy into the creation of this album, shaping the arrangements with meticulous precision; a touch of techno, authentic violins (Mathilde Vrech and Caroline Pauvert), inventive guitars (François Poggio) and even a touch of trumpet (Camille Passeri).
In this haiku of carefully chosen words and surprising melodies, "The Prince of Ash" seeks a sharp sincerity, freeing itself from conventions to plunge into a deep meditation on our world.
