Kim Novak was a French rock group active from 2005 to 2014. The group released a self-titled, self-produced debut album in 2006. Its second album, Luck and Accident, was released on April 23, 2007, through Talitres Records. The album was produced by François Chevallier and Markus Dravs, and was accompanied by the single “Swallow”. In February 2011, the band released the EP Glory, followed in October 2011 by the album The Golden Mean on Kütu Folk Records. The latter was named Album pop/rock de l’année by the readers of Slate magazine. The group's track “New York” was featured on the soundtrack of the television series Les Experts. The band's touring history included performances in France, Belgium, Austria, and Italy, with appearances at the festivals Transmusicales de Rennes, Eurockéennes de Belfort, Papillons de nuit, Route du Rock, and Festival Beauregard. The group disbanded in 2014.
