MRKing is a Gabonese singer who has established himself on the urban music scene thanks to his style blending rap, trap and traditional influences. After making a name for himself on SoundCloud, where he amassed over a million listens, he released his debut album, First Stage, in 2019, followed by Quality Business in 2020, a 9-track EP mixed and arranged by himself. In 2021, he unveiled Only The Family, a 14-track album with Bwiti-inspired sounds, reflecting an artistic maturity and a connection with his traditions. Standout singles include "Protector", a pop-R&B ballad adopted by many fans on TikTok, "Acolyte" and "Princesse du Gabao" featuring Yitou, as well as "Coeur et Raison" featuring Emma'a. In 2024, MRKing enriched his discography with the EP Le Maître de l'Amour, consolidating his place in Gabon's musical landscape.
