Yules is a French pop group singing in English, formed in 1999 in Lure, Haute-Saone by brothers Bertrand and Guillaume Charret. After releasing several self-produced EPs, including Fingerprints #1 (2003) and Uptight (2005), the group signed with WTPL Music for publishing. Their debut album, The Release, was released in October 2007 through Booster and was re-released in September 2008 with two bonus tracks. The album, which featured the single “Desperation Land”, received critical acclaim from outlets such as Télérama and Les Inrockuptibles. On October 25, 2010, the group released their second album, Strike a Balance, featuring the single “Absolute Believer”, which was accompanied by a 3D music video. In 2014, the group released I'm Your Man... Naked, an album revisiting Leonard Cohen's I'm Your Man with a string quartet.
