Noah Solomon Chase, born June 9, 1973, in Northern California, is an Israeli–American singer, guitarist, and mandolinist. Raised in Mevo Modi'in, Israel, he learned music from his father Ben Zion Solomon and from Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, who hired him as a guitarist at 16 and retained him until Carlebach’s death in 1994. In 1991 he met guitarist C Lanzbom in Jerusalem; the pair moved to New York and founded Soulfarm, releasing Inasense in 1996, followed by The Ride (1997), Get Your Shinebox (2000), Unwind (2003), and The Bridge (2014). He also performed at the 2013 Tisha B'Av services in Manhattan.
