Fille qui mousse is a French experimental rock group from Paris. Formed in the early 1970s, the collective was founded by the artist Henri-Jean Enu and included members Daniel Hoffmann, Dominique Lentin, Jean-Pierre Lentin, Léo Sab and François Guildon. The ensemble was often compared to Krautrock groups such as Faust. In 1971, the group recorded its debut studio album in a single day for the label Futura Records. Due to financial difficulties at the label, the release was delayed until 1973 and the pressing was limited to approximately ten copies. The band achieved historical recognition following its inclusion in the Nurse with Wound list. In 1994, the group’s material was reissued under the titles Trixie Stapleton and Se Taire pour une femme trop belle. A large-scale reissue of the album was released in 2002 through Fractal Records.
