Heartfelt and relentless, Jay Putty has quietly written himself into the fabric of Nashville’s songwriting scene, where sincerity matters as much as stamina. His songs have traveled farther than he ever imagined, charting in over 50 countries on iTunes, reaching #94 on the global Singer-Songwriter chart, landing at #13 on SiriusXM’s The Pulse weekly countdown, and holding steady for 20 weeks in Billboard’s Pop Airplay Top 40. Music that started as confession now echoes across the world.
From major brand placements with Ralph Lauren, Busch Gardens, and DraftKings to streams climbing into the hundreds of thousands, Jay’s career has been built the slow, honest way, on connection. A small-town Indiana kid sidelined by sports injuries, he picked up a guitar out of boredom and grief and never put it down. What began as survival turned into purpose: writing songs that sit with you, lift you, and tell the truth when words are hard to find. Whether he’s writing through the day or disappearing into a late-night movie, Jay brings the same quiet devotion to his art, creating music that feels less like performance and more like a conversation: intimate, hopeful, and unmistakably human.
