Elephant Kind

Elephant Kind, an Indonesian alt-pop band, was formed in 2014. The group originated as a project by vocalist Bam Mastro during his studies at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. After graduating, Mastro returned to Indonesia and assembled the band with members Bayu Adisapoetra, John Paul Patton, and Dewa Pratama.
Elephant Kind released their debut extended play Scenarios: A Short Film by Elephant Kind in 2014, followed by Promenades: A Short Film By Elephant Kind in 2015. Their first studio album, City J, was released in September 2016. In November 2018, Dewa Pratama left the band and was replaced by bassist Kevin Septanto. The group's second studio album, The Greatest Ever, was released in March 2019. In 2022, Elephant Kind moved to London to target a wider international market and signed with Mola Records. They released the extended play Superblue in March 2023.
