Pettinellis, a Chilean rock band led by Álvaro Henríquez, formed during the hiatus of Los Tres. Initially comprising Camilo Salinas on keyboards and acordeon, Nicolás Torres on drums, and Cristián Espiñeira on bass, who was later replaced by Pedro Araneda. Their debut album Pettinellis, released in 2002, achieved gold status with notable singles "Hospital", "Ch bah puta la wea" and "Un hombre muerto en el ring". Pettinellis also contributed to the soundtrack of the Chilean film Sexo con amor and performed at the Festival de Viña del Mar in 2004. After disbanding in 2004, the band reunited intermittently from 2009 to 2013 for various performances. In 2022, Pettinellis released their second studio album Pettinellis II, marking a return to recording new material after nearly two decades.
