Imperial Wax

Imperial Wax, a British alternative rock band, was formed in 2018 by guitarist Pete Greenway, bassist Dave Spurr, and drummer Keiron Melling. The trio had previously played together in the final line-up of post-punk group The Fall. Following the death of Mark E. Smith, Imperial Wax recruited vocalist Sam Curran to form their core lineup. Their debut album, Gastwerk Saboteurs, was released in 2019 on Saustex Records and received positive reviews for its energetic sound and strong songwriting. The band's second album, Tranquilliser, was released in 2024 on their own label Guesswork Records.
