Priests is an American post-punk band from Washington, D.C., formed in 2012 by Katie Alice Greer on vocals, Daniele Daniele on drums, and G.L. Jaguar on guitar. The band released two EPs, Dogs (2013) and Bodies and Control and Money and Power (2014), through their label Sister Polygon Records before achieving critical acclaim with their debut studio album, Nothing Feels Natural, in January 2017. This album appeared on multiple best-of-year lists, including those from Billboard, NPR, and Pitchfork. In April 2019, Priests released their second studio album, The Seduction of Kansas. On December 12, 2019, the band announced an indefinite hiatus to pursue individual projects.
