Dry Jack, an American jazz fusion band, was formed in 1973 by keyboardist Chuck Lamb and his bassist brother Rich. The group gained recognition as a premier band of the electric jazz movement, following acts like Larry Coryell's The Eleventh House and Chick Corea's Return to Forever. They shared the stage with notable musicians such as Ray Charles and Pat Metheny. Dry Jack released two albums: Magical Elements and Whale City, both through Inner City Records in 1979. The band disbanded in 1982 but reunited in 2016 to record new material.
