Of Shadows And Lights is the alternative rock project of multi-instrumentalist, Angelo Pitone. Born and raised in Bari, Southern Italy, wrote his first song on piano at just 12-years-old. He began his musical training studying piano and singing at the Conservatory, but also listening to the likes of Queen, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Iron Maiden, Muse, Nothing But Thieves, Foo Fighters, The Luka State, The New Regime, Ilan Rubin, Des Rocs, Dead Poet Society, and more.
His music rides through the popular Rock and Pop anthems of the latest three decades, including modern Indie Rock, Modern Alternative Rock, cinematic quality songs as his debut album Almost Prophetic Visions And Thoughts demonstrates. As a workaholic, he improved the quality of his songwriting, and his versatility, charisma, charm and confidence are the proof of this never-ending research for the best. The Bachelor's Degree he obtained at UWS in 2019 is a further stepping stone towards advanced music production.
After being featured on All New Rock thanks to Spotify's editorial backing and being awarded the Best Indie Rock Act for Radio Wigwam, he joined the independent Swedish record label Rexius Records AB in late 2022. The well-criticised EP Poems From The Edge ('This EP is a standout work in the indie music scene' | Beach House Mag), set a new mark in the continuous evolution of OSAL's sound.
