A-Europa, also known as A-Eiropa, is a Latvian dance music group formed in 1999 by Artūrs Duboks and Jānis Lamsters. Originating from Latvia, with Duboks residing in the city of Daugavpils, the project began as a follow-up to the late-1980s pop group Austrumeiropa. The group frequently releases songs in both Latvian and Russian versions or mixes both languages within the same track. On February 14, 2001, they released the Latvian and Russian versions of their debut album, Tuvumā tālumā and Белые небеса, which both achieved platinum status in Latvia. The releases were followed by a Latvian concert tour that began on April 6, 2001, and concluded with a charity concert on May 5, 2001. On June 6, 2003, Platforma Records released their second studio albums, Tici sapnim and Верь в мечту, which also earned platinum certifications. The group's successful tracks include the dual-language hits “Baltās rozes” / “Белые розы” and “Jūrmala” / “Юрмала”.
