Bartone is a French singer-songwriter and author born as Antoine Barrailler in Saint-Étienne. Bartone achieved professional recognition for a musical career characterized by rock and chanson and for being a member of the ensemble Les Raoul Volfoni. He achieved professional recognition for a career that began in the late 1990s after he released three independent recordings with Les Raoul Volfoni. His solo recording career began with the debut studio recording Cador (2005) released on the label Sony BMG. The recording achieved professional recognition for featuring collaborations with the musician Clarika and the musician Mademoiselle K and the single "France / Allemagne 82" (2005).
