Got a Girl is an American musical duo from Los Angeles, California, that formed in 2012. The group consists of singer Mary Elizabeth Winstead and music producer Dan Nakamura, who uses the stage name Dan the Automator. They met in 2010 and collaborated on the Deltron 3030 album Event 2 (2013), for which Winstead provided vocals on the songs “The Agony” and “Look Across the Sky”. Their debut single, “You and Me (Board Mix)”, was released (2013) followed by the studio album I Love You but I Must Drive Off This Cliff Now (2014). The recording features the tracks “Did We Live Too Fast?” (2014), “There's a Revolution” (2014), and “Put Your Head Down” (2014) featuring Mike Patton. Their musical style includes influences from French pop, hip hop, trip hop, and jazz.
