Southern Raised, a Christian bluegrass band from Branson, Missouri, was formed in 2007 by siblings Lindsay, Emily, Sarah, and Matthew Reith. Their music blended elements of bluegrass, country, folk, Celtic, and Christian genres. The group originated from Arkansas and discovered their love for bluegrass after moving to the Ozark Plateau. Their debut album, A Soul Going Somewhere, was released in 2012 and the band achieved significant recognition with multiple finalist placements at the IBMA (International Bluegrass Music Association) and nominations from the SPBGMA (The Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music of America). In 2017, they signed with Provident Entertainment, a label under Sony Music Entertainment. Other notable albums include Make a Difference (2014), Another World (2017), and Love Carries On (2020). Sarah Reith left the band in early 2020 following her marriage to David Noland, and was replaced by Alex Aaron Clayton.
