Born on March 28, 1986, Yannaël Quenel is a French pianist and composer whose career bridges the gap between classical performance, composition and interdisciplinary collaboration. His collaborations include choreographer Marie-Claude Pietragalla, contemporary artists and theater. Pianist with the Opéra national du Capitole de Toulouse Ballet since 2022, after post-graduate studies in Lyon and Hamburg, he composed the music for Je t'ai rencontré par hasard, Être ou paraître, Les Chaises and Lorenzaccio. Between interpreting classical pieces and composing, Yannaël Quenel has recorded the albums Piano Solo (2014), Paris-Berlin (2014) and Paris-Berlin, Vol. 2 (2017) for the E=MC² label. In 2025, he accompanied Marie-Claude Pietragalla on her first album as a singer, the Barbara tribute.
