Klangstabil, a German electronic music group, was formed in 1994 by Maurizio Blanco and Boris May. The duo gained initial attention through small concerts before securing a record deal, leading to their first vinyl release. Their debut album, Böhm Gott der Elektrik, released in December 1997, paid homage to the Dr. Böhm organ and analog-electronic production of the 1970s. In 2000, Klangstabil released Gioco Bambino, a minimalist album primarily created using a Game Boy. Notable works include Kantorka (2001), an audio adaptation of Otfried Preussler's novel Krabat, and Math & Emotion (2008), which explored the union of reason and ecstasy. The group frequently performed at major festivals such as the Maschinenfest in Oberhausen, Wave-Gotik-Treffen in Leipzig, Summer Darkness Festival in the Netherlands, and Amphi Festival in Cologne. After a period of silence, Klangstabil returned to perform new compositions at the Nocturnal Culture Night Festival in 2024.
