You'll Melt More! was formed in Tokyo, Japan on 4 October 2012 as a Japanese idol group. The original quartet-Yumikon, Kechon, Itchy, and Nonchan-was later joined by Momopi in January 2013, who assumed the center position. Their first release, the EP Hello World on 15 May 2013 under the indie label You’ll Records, introduced the group’s eclectic mix of electronic, pop, rap, rock, and world music elements. In September 2013, the national debut EP New Escape Underground expanded their reach, and the full‑length album Unforgettable Final Odyssey (UFO) followed in July 2014 on Space Shower Music, marking the group’s first major‑label release. Throughout 2014–2015, the group released a series of EPs (Electric Sukiyaki Girls, SUImin City Destroyer, 文学と破壊, 映画スペシャルCD 女の子よ死体と踊れ) and the double‑album You Are the World (11 November 2015), while collaborating with rock acts such as Hijokaidan and participating in the film Onna no Ko yo Shitai to Odore. Subsequent projects included the 2017 album YOUTOPIA, the 2018 compilation 音楽よ回れ!! MUSIC GO ROUND ~ゆるベスト!~, and the 2023 studio album GOLDEN YOU (7 June 2023). The group continued to issue singles—"Hamidasumo!" (25 March 2015), "孤独と逆襲" (15 March 2017), "その他のみなさん" (13 February 2023), and "Solitude and Counterattack" (13 November 2023)—and maintained an active touring schedule, notably the 2016 We Are a Rock Festival tour.
