Sleepwave was an American rock band from St. Petersburg, Florida, founded in 2013 by vocalist Spencer Chamberlain following the dissolution of Underoath. In early 2014, Sleepwave embarked on their first tour supporting Tonight Alive, Taking Back Sunday, and The Used. They signed with Epitaph Records in July of the same year. Their debut album Broken Compass was released in 2014, reaching number 4 on the U.S. Top Heatseekers chart. The album featured notable songs such as "Through the Looking Glass", which peaked at number 37 on the Mainstream Rock Songs chart. Sleepwave toured extensively in support of Broken Compass through 2015 and opened for a reunited Armor for Sleep. However, Chamberlain returned to Underoath in 2016, marking the end of Sleepwave's active years.
