The Soviettes are an American punk rock ensemble from Minneapolis, Minnesota, formed in 2001. The group was established by Annie Holoien, Susy Sharp, Maren Macosko, and Lane Pederson, with Danny Henry joining as the permanent drummer later. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by pop-punk and riot grrrl influences. Their recording career began with the debut extended play T.C.C.P. (2002). They released the studio recordings LP (2003) and LP II (2004) before contributing the track “¡Paranoia! Cha-Cha-Cha” (2004) to the compilation Rock Against Bush, Vol. 1. Their discography includes the studio recording LP III (2005) and the compilation Rarities (2010). The ensemble became inactive in 2006. In 2019, the group was named number 93 on the Consequence list of best pop-punk bands.
