Dead to Me is an American punk rock band from San Francisco, California, founded in 2003 by vocalist and guitarist Jack Dalrymple and drummer Brandon Pollack of One Man Army. The initial lineup also included bassist and vocalist Tyson "Chicken" Annicharico. Early on, Pollack was replaced by Isa Anderson on drums and Nathan Grice joined as a second guitarist. Their debut album, Cuban Ballerina, was released in 2006. Dalrymple left the band in 2008 following the release of the EP Little Brother (2008) to focus on his family and other musical commitments, with Grice taking over vocal duties. The band recorded as a three-piece, releasing the album African Elephants in 2009, before Grice's departure in 2010. Guitarist and vocalist Sam Johnson and guitarist Ken Yamazaki joined the group, leading to the release of the album Moscow Penny Ante in 2011. In late 2014, Dalrymple returned to the band, making it a five-piece group again. Their subsequent EP, I Wanna Die in Los Angeles, was released in 2016. Notable singles include "Wait for It... Wait for It!!" (2010) and "Fear Is the New Bliss" (2018).
