Laki Pingvini, a Serbian rock band formed in Belgrade in 1979, initially emerged from the Yugoslav new wave scene. Their debut EP Šizika was released in 1983, featuring hit tracks like "Možda, možda". The band's first album, Muzika za mlade, followed in 1984, including hits like "Ne, nisam tvoj heroj". They performed at the Split Music Festival in 1984 with "Ja sam mornar" and a cover of Paul Anka's "Love Me Warm and Tender", titled "Voli me". Their second album, Striptiz, was released in 1985. The band disbanded in 1986, but vocalist Đorđe Dragojlović reformed Laki Pingvini in 1994 with a new lineup, releasing the album Stereo in 1995. Notable recognitions include Ruž covering "Šizika" on their 1995 album Kao nekada..., and Petrol performing Muzika za mlade in its entirety at the Belgrade Mixer festival in 2011. Časlav Stanković died on October 2, 2012, and Milan Bubalo died on December 7, 2023.
