The Shaky Hands were a Portland, Oregon-based rock group formed in 2003 by Paul Culp and Colin Anderson. Nicholas Delffs joined on vocals and guitar, and the band released the EP The Shaky Hands in 2005. Their sound blended British Invasion influences with American folk-rock. In late 2006, they signed with Holocene Music, with Mayhaw Hoons replacing Culp on bass. Their debut album The Shaky Hands was released in 2007, followed by Lunglight in 2008. After extensive touring and lineup changes, including the departure of founding member Anderson, the Shaky Hands disbanded in 2011.
