Floodlights is an Australian rock band formed in Melbourne, Victoria, in 2018, comprising Louis Parsons, Ashlee Kehoe, Joe Draffen, Archie Shannon, and Sarah Hellyer. The group emerged from a conversation at The Tote Hotel, and their first self‑released EP Backyard appeared in May 2019 before being re‑issued by Spunk Records. They signed with Spunk and released their debut album From a View in July 2020, followed by a two‑song 7" on Tiny Town in June 2021. Their second album Painting of My Time was issued on 21 April 2023, supported by European and Australian tours, including a performance at the Meredith Music Festival where The Age highlighted them. In March 2025, Underneath was released through PIAS, marking the first album to feature trumpeter Sarah Hellyer as a permanent member.
