Alte Sau, a German punk band from Hamburg, was formed in 2013 and consisted of Jens Rachut on vocals, Raoul Doré on drums, and Rebecca Oehms on organ, synthesizer, and vocals. The band's unique sound, which eschewed traditional guitar and bass, was characterized by its use of a home organ and rudimentary drum kit. Their debut album, Alte Sau, was released on June 20, 2014, featuring guest appearances from the female choir Die Sibirischen Falten. The album received critical acclaim, including being named one of the eight albums of the month by Ox-Fanzine in August/September 2014. In 2016, Alte Sau released a split EP with Lime Crush and their second album, To Be As Livin', which featured a male choir. The band's third album, Öl im Bauch, was released in 2021.
