French songwriter, producer and clip director
Lizzy Ling, born in Bourges, France, is a French singer-songwriter, composer, and producer. She began her musical journey performing with various groups and studying jazz at the IMFP Michel Barro in Nîmes and rock and chanson at Studio des Variétés in Paris. In 1992, she signed with EMI as part of the group Histoires de Filles and performed in Japan for about ten years. Lizzy Ling's debut solo album, Un Tigre Dans Le Bungalow, was released in 2008, followed by No Simili in 2010. She wrote the majority of the texts and music for these albums herself. In 2015, she released a double album titled Working Day, Vol. 1 and Working Day, Vol. 2. Lizzy Ling has collaborated with notable artists such as Brigitte Fontaine and Denis Lavant in the clip for "My Concubine" and contributed vocals to "Hildegarde" from Moonbootica's album of the same name.
