The Force Dimension is a Dutch EBM band from Amsterdam, Netherlands, founded in 1987 by Tycho de Groot, Rene van Dijck, and Armin Elmensdorp. Initially active in experimental post-industrial music, The Force Dimension released the collaborative 7" single "Fabrieksforce" (1988) with De Fabriek. In 1989, after shifting towards Electronic Body Music (EBM) and signing with KK Records, the band released their debut album The Force Dimension (1989). This was followed by Deus Ex Machina (1990), both albums featuring danceable EBM tracks. The group toured as an opening act for bands like The Neon Judgement and The Klinik during this period. In 1996, they collaborated with former member Armin Elmensdorp to produce the album Kitty Hawk (1996). After disbanding in 1997 following their ten-year anniversary, The Force Dimension attempted a comeback in 2013 with Rene van Dijck and Betty Correa, performing at events like the BIMfest in Belgium. The band released the subsequent album Machine Sex (2017).
