Skeduz are a Breton music group formed in 1994 in Melrand, Morbihan, France, by Yvon Lefebvre, Nicolas Quemener, Laurent Dacquay, Dédé Thomas, and Ronan Pellen. The ensemble's name, derived from the Breton word skedus meaning bright or radiant, pays homage to the 1970s group Glazar Skeduz, co-founded by Thomas. During their first 7 years, Skeduz performed around 70 fest-noz concerts annually and released 2 studio albums on Keltia Musique: Rag Ar Plinn in 1997 and Couleurs Livioù in 1999. Following a hiatus in 2001, the group reunited in 2006, adding new members including Erwan Hamon, Pierre Droual, Hilaire Rama, and Stéphane Sotin, blending traditional Breton repertoire with Irish musical influences.
