Unherz

Unherz, a German metal and rock band from Alzey, Rheinhessen-Pfalz, was founded in 2008 by guitarist Andy Arnold and bassist Locke Heylmann. The group was later joined by vocalist Felix Orschel and drummer Christian Bogert. After experimenting with various styles, Unherz settled on a rock-oriented sound. After Unherz produced their first demo CD, their debut album Unherzlich Willkommen was released in 2010 under Massacre Records. Subsequent albums included Herzschlag (2011), Die Wahrheit Liegt Dazwischen (2012), and Sturm und Drang (2014). In 2017, Unherz signed with SPV and released their album Das Volk Stellt die Leichen, marking their debut entry into the official German album charts. The band has undergone several lineup changes, including Benny Daniel taking over on bass in 2018.
