Simon Zaoui, born 23 April 1980 in France, is a classical pianist. After studying at the Conservatoire à Rayonnement Régional de Boulogne‑Billancourt, the Paris Conservatory, and the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki, he received guidance from prominent teachers such as Émile Naoumoff, Aldo Ciccolini, and Pierre‑Laurent Aimard. Zaoui’s career gained momentum with international performances across Japan, Brazil, the Maghreb, Israel, and major French venues including La Roque d’Anthéron and the Théâtre du Châtelet. His album Fauré : Horizons was released on 16 February 2018, featuring collaborations with tenor David Lefort, violinist Pierre Fouchenneret, and cellist Raphaël Merlin. In addition to his performance work, Zaoui has taught at the Vincennes Conservatory and served as the artistic director of the Kersaint Chapel music cycle association.
