Shkëlzen Kastrati, known professionally as Xen, was born on April 3, 1990, in Zürich, Switzerland. He is a Swiss rapper with Albanian roots who began his music career by drawing inspiration from Kool Savas. In 2015, after three years of work, Xen released his debut album Ich Gäge Mich on the Swiss music platform iGroove, which allows payment via SMS. The album debuted at number 4 on the Swiss charts. That same year, he collaborated with fellow Albanian rapper Eaz to release the single "Kei Zit", which reached number 2 in the charts. In 2017, Xen released his second album Physical Shock, and together with Eaz and Liba, they won the LYRICS Awards for Best Song for "Alé" and Best Release for Physical Shock. Xen's single "Motivé", released in 2022, was nominated for a Swiss Music Award in the category of Best Hit.
