South Central is a British electronic music duo from Brighton. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by techno, dance, and indie rock and for being described as Electrocknica. The ensemble consists of the musician Rob and the musician Keith. They achieved professional recognition for a career that began after they performed in clubs and released bootlegs and the debut single "Nothing Can Go Wrong" (2006). South Central achieved professional recognition for touring as the resident DJs on the NME Rock & Roll Riot Tour with the ensemble The Wombats in 2007. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording The Owl of Minerva (2008) which was followed by the single "Golden Dawn" (2008). Their discography included the studio recording Society of the Spectacle (2011) and the single "Demons". They achieved professional recognition for producing remixes for the ensemble Klaxons, the ensemble Metronomy, and the ensemble The Prodigy.
