Nico Gori, born 13 September 1975 in Florence, Italy, is an Italian clarinetist who studied at the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory, graduating in 1993. He refined his craft through master classes with jazz figures such as Dave Liebman and Tony Scott, leading to solo and big‑band performances in classical, jazz, funk, and acid jazz. In 2005, he released his debut jazz album Groovin’ High with his quartet on Philology, followed by Alien in Your Head (2008). Gori’s discography includes the album Da Vinci with Fred Hersch on Bee Jazz (2012) and Everyday Life (2022) with Edoardo Liberati Synthetics. Gori has also toured with the Stefano Bollani Carioca project, playing at major Italian jazz festivals.
