Tamara Lukasheva, born on April 16, 1988 in Odessa, Ukraine, is a Ukrainian-German jazz singer and pianist. Raised in a musical family, she began her formal training at the Music College in Odessa from 2003 to 2007, followed by studies at the Cologne University of Music, earning both Bachelor's and Master’s degrees in 2015 and 2018, respectively. Lukasheva formed her own quartet after moving to Cologne and released her debut solo album Patchwork of Time in 2016. Throughout her career, she has collaborated with notable musicians including Matthias Schriefl and Bodek Janke. She received the Horst and Gretl Will Scholarship in 2018 and won the WDR Jazz Prize for Composition in 2021. Lukasheva's 2021 album Gleichung notably showcased her skills as both a pianist and composer. She has performed extensively across Europe, Ukraine, and Central America.
