Imagika is an American power and thrash metal band from San Carlos, California, formed in 1993 by guitarist Steve Rice, drummer Henry Moreno, and vocalist David Michael. Following a 1994 demo, bassist Michael Dargis joined the group, which released its self-titled debut album, Imagika (1995), on Headless Corpse Records before a re-release on ABS Records. The band signed with Radiation Records for Worship (1998) and subsequently with Massacre Records for And So It Burns (2001). Following the addition of bassist Elena Repetto-Luciano, vocalist Norman Skinner replaced David Michael during the recording of Devils on Both Sides (2005). The group followed with My Bloodied Wings (2006) and Feast for the Hated (2008), both produced by Andy LaRocque. After releasing Portrait of a Hanged Man (2010) on Metalville Records, the group disbanded in 2010. In 2019, Rice, Skinner, and bassist Jim Pegram reunited with drummer Matt Thompson to release Only Dark Hearts Survive (2019).
