LUXT is the definitive "Cyber Voodoo Rock" band. Formed in Sacramento in 1995 by vocalist Anna Christine and multi-instrumentalist/producer Erie Loch, the group built a reputation for a heavy, industrial-leaning sound fused with melodic rock and high-impact visuals. Alongside David Hubbard (guitar) and Scott "Crash" Hale (bass), the band spent a decade dominating the alternative scene, playing over 500 live shows and sharing stages with icons like Rammstein, System of a Down, and Papa Roach.
During their original run, LUXT released five studio albums and earned three Sacramento Area Music (SAMMIES) Awards, including recognitions for Best Album and Hardest Working Band. After a sold-out farewell performance in 2005, the members pursued diverse paths—from Erie producing for artists associated with Ministry and Nine Inch Nails to Anna expanding her career and business ownership.
In July 2025, exactly 20 years after their farewell, the original four members reunited with a clear sense of unfinished business. Now writing and recording new music, LUXT has returned with an evolved sound that blends their signature crushing guitars and electronic grit with two decades of growth. With new singles and live shows in motion, the 2025 incarnation of LUXT is officially back!
