Bestards, a Taiwanese pop‑folk group formed in 2018, comprises lead vocalist Ji‑ding (Chiu Chien‑hao), guitarist A‑jhe (Kuo Che‑cheng), and guitarist Chien‑ting (Lee Chien‑ting), who all studied at Taipei Medical University, balancing medical and pharmaceutical training with music. They were later joined by rapper Look (Lu Ko-pei). The band’s breakthrough came with the 2018 single "I Love You Not Just Because the Weather Is Sunny", which surpassed ten million YouTube views and secured top positions on StreetVoice charts. Their debut album, The Fool, released in 2020 via crowdfunding, reached number 2 on books.com.tw and earned them a nomination for Best New Artist at the 32nd Golden Melody Awards. In 2022, they released their next album, Turn Off/On, followed by Half-Ripe Ideals in 2023. Bestards has toured extensively across Asia and performed at the Taipei Arena and the 2022 Taipei New Year's Eve Countdown Concert.
