Los Angeles-based alt-pop duo Cosmo Gold—singer-songwriter Emily “Cosmo” Gold and producer/multi-instrumentalist Mike De Luccia—craft cinematic, emotionally driven pop rooted in intimate storytelling and immersive production. First gaining attention with their 2019 debut EP Waiting on the City, the standout track “Drown The Fly” was praised by Stereogum and featured on Spotify’s New Music Friday. Their 2022 LP Krong expanded the project’s visual scope, culminating in a live-filmed performance piece considered by The Recording Academy for a 2025 Grammy in Best Concert Film. Their forthcoming album, Love on Earth, explores grief and self-discovery following the end of a six-year relationship, marking Cosmo Gold’s most personal, unfiltered work to date.
