Christopher Bill, born June 9, 1992, in Binghamton, New York, is an American trombonist, composer, arranger, music director, and YouTuber who began piano lessons at six and switched to trombone at ten. He released his first viral arrangement of "Fireflies" in 2012, launching the ClassicalTrombone channel that later featured a daily Christmas project titled "The 25 Days of Christmas" and a 2014 viral cover of "Happy". His first studio album, Breakthrough (2014), followed by the Christmas collection Smiling’s My Favorite the same year, set the stage for his 2017 release Half Man, Half Machine. After graduation, he performed at major trombone festivals and served as youth workshop director at the International Trombone Association’s 2019 festival, while his channel amassed over 280,000 subscribers and 64 million views as of 2023.
