Experiencing success as a NYC rocker in the 80s and Nashville songwriter in the 90s— woodwindist/ composer, Warren A. Keller now channels his most vibrant, grooving influences into his role as leader of the perfectly named urban jazz/funk ensemble, Spontaneous Groovin’ Combustion (SGC).
Debuting in April 2019, SGC has made SmoothJazz.com’s Top 20, RadioWave’s Top 30, and Smooth Jazz Network’s Top 50 charts, as well as the top 25% of the BDS chart. They’re very proud to have been included as one of SmoothJazz.com’s Top 100 Albums of 2020, 2021, and 2022. Their 3rd single, “Jackie’s New Car” was featured on Sirius XM Watercolors’ Dave Koz Lounge. Several of their hits have been in regular rotation at television’s Music Choice, and on contemporary jazz radio stations around the world. SGC has over 3 Million streams at Amazon Music and over a Half-Million streams at Spotify.
Warren K. has collaborated with the likes of Blake Aaron and Brendan Rothwell to deliver the coolest tunes with the hottest production. In 2024, SGC is thrilled to offer the fourth single from their new EP, All’s Well. “Spontaneity” was co-written and produced by Jeff Carruthers (Paul Brown, Boney James, etc.), with Eric Valentine and Corney Mims joining the ensemble.
Warren and SGC remain greatly appreciative of their many fans and broadcasters around the world!
