White Rose Movement was a London‑based electronic and electro‑rock group formed in 2002 by childhood friends Vine, Milton, Dyke, and Harper, who grew up together in a Norfolk commune. The band’s early output began with the single "Love Is A Number" (2005), which entered the UK singles chart at number 117. In 2006 the group released the album Kick (2006), reaching number 106 on the UK album chart; the album was produced by Paul Epworth and was followed by the singles "Alsatian" (2005) and "Girls In The Back" (2006). The band toured extensively, supporting acts such as the Rakes, the Strokes, Placebo, and Nine Inch Nails, and performed at festivals including Coachella and Benicàssim. Despite a publishing deal with Domino and a planned second album, the band dissolved in 2010, citing difficulties in releasing the finished record; the group’s final release was the single "London's Mine" (2006). White Rose Movement ceased activity in 2010.
