Azure Ray is an American dream pop duo from Athens, Georgia. Formed in 2001, the project consists of musicians Orenda Fink and Maria Taylor, who met while attending the Alabama School of Fine Arts. The pair originally fronted the band Little Red Rocket. The ensemble released its self-titled debut studio album, Azure Ray, in 2001 through Warm Electronic Recordings. In 2002, the duo collaborated with Moby on the song "Great Escape" for his recording 18. After relocating to Omaha, Nebraska, the group signed with Saddle Creek Records and issued the album Hold On Love (2003). Their music has appeared in television series such as Six Feet Under and Grey's Anatomy, and the song "Sleep" was featured in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada. Following a series of reunions and hiatuses, the duo issued the studio album Remedy in 2021.
